♡MILKBBI♡

This is a little late, but I wanted to share with you guys my favorite obsession right now, MILKBBI. Created by Justin Wallace, who's fluorescent pastel colored artwork is too cute for words. Not that long ago I purchased a sweater & a sticker sheet from his website milkbbi.com. I don't have any photo's of me wearing it yet, but here you go!

The sleeves have artwork on them too but it's not pictured. (⊃‿⊂)
Everyone should go check out his work because wow. Another thing I loved it that he had up to a 2xl if I'm correct. Which is awesome since I'm not the thinnest thing in the world and I like my sweaters BIG!

Beauty Without Bunnies 101

I'm back again with a topic that I feel very strongly about, and hopefully some of you do too!

I'm going to try to be nice and calm about it in this entry, but it is something I just CANT tolerate anymore. I used to randomly walk into a drugstore, purchase a product, and not think anything of it. If I checked the labels and saw that the company was cruelty-free, great! But since I've educated myself on the topic of animal testing, I will never be so lenient again. It takes a lot of strength to see past the disturbing images, but you can google any questions you may have on the topic and read about the horrors for yourself. Actually seeing the damage done it will make you realize just how cruel it really is.

If you're unsure about what companies test or don't test, peta has a great database that has all cruelty-free companies. Check it out here! They also list the companies which don't practice such a thing. I guarantee you'll be shocked by how many products you have in your home that a helpless animal was tortured for, just for you to own.

Here are some big ones right away: Revlon, Estee Lauder, Johnson & Johnson, Avon, L'Oreal, Proctor & Gamble, Dial, and so forth. Keep in mind these are companies. Companies that produce your Listerine, Crest toothpaste, Garnier shampoo's, Air Wick, Febreze, all the way to your Dolce & Gabanna perfumes to your trending M.A.C. lipsticks. (I'll never waste my pennies on MAC anymore. Kind of a relief if you ask me.)

My favorite cruelty-free brands are: Urban Decay (yay!), LUSH, & NYX cosmetics. Although UD & LUSH can be a bit pricey, there are many inexpensive brands too, like NYX & e.l.f.! Making sure that you buy cruelty-free is not as hard as you think! Just make a list of all of the companies you've heard of to the store and make sure you check the description on the bottles for the company & so forth. Then you'll know what to never buy again!

My bunny Nimbus & I thank you! (these are older pictures. He is much bigger now & my hair more colorful.)

minihouse8888 extensions review

Hey everyone! I know it's been an extremely long time since I've blogged last. There has been a lot going on in my real life that I've had to deal with so I apologize for my absence. But I'm back with a review! I've gone quite some time without hair extensions, since my hair was green actually, and I've been missing my length. But I like to budget and find the best product I can for the cheapest prices. I've head about minihouse8888.com before by word of mouth and a couple of my favorite youtubers so I checked it out and gave them a shot. I ordered the Remy Clip in Extensions, more specifically the 20" in the lightest blonde listed. It says you will receive 70 grams of 100% human hair, for $30.80. If you buy hair extensions you'll know that the price is amazing  for that much REAL hair. Seems too good to be true right? Well, yeah kind of. I figured they weren't going to be as good as some of my older sets which I've spent nearly $100 on, but I was curious to see what I would get.

This is the packaging they came in. I have a bit of a long story with this. I knew they would take a while to get to me considered it's free basic shipping from China. A month and 2 weeks went by, still nothing. I had to contact them just to get my tracking number which was never provided in the first place. Thankfully they were very compliant and nice. After checking my tracking number it said that there was a missed delivery and they were sitting at my local post office. I never got the missed notice so I had no idea (but that was obviously not minihouse's fault). SO, I went down to the post office to pick them up and the worker said that after 10 days they send them back to the original sender. So I contacted minihouse again and asked them to notify me once they've received the package. I waited 2 more weeks, nothing. Finally I got another missed notice because no one is home in the mornings/afternoons to catch the delivery. I finally went back to the SAME place I thought they were before and got them. It took me just over 2 months to get them, which is outrageous. But, such is life right?

When I opened the package I was a bit disappointed. Maybe I'm just used to having thick extensions, but these were very thin, as I expected. Thankfully I had 2 leftover blonde wefts from the last time I bought a set of hair extensions. And even with those they are still not as thick as I would like them. And my hair isn't that thick in the first place. Also, the blonde wasn't as light as I had hoped. And if you look closely at them you can see strands of red and brown throughout them? With them being dark as well it was tricky to get the color to match my real hair but I managed to make it work. There we also a few spots that weren't sealed very well. As in pieces of hair were falling out of the weft. So far there hasn't been too much shedding besides that but I'm afraid there will be in the future. Which isn't good considering how thin they are. The one thing I really liked about them though were the clips! They are some of the best clips I've had! They secure well and are more comfortable to wear than most.

PRO'S: Nice length / Comfortable clips / Affordable

CON'S: Very thin / Frequent shedding / Color's are not accurate / Shipping takes forever

I would recommend these hair extensions to someone who is looking for a set to wear occasionally, not for every day use. If you have thick hair I would suggest buying a set with more grams or buying 2 sets and doubling them up to avoid a mass amount of clips, as that can get uncomfortable. I'm not completely unsatisfied because you get what you pay for. I'll probably have to buy another set soon, but for now they work fine!

If you have any other questions leave them below in the comments or feel free to send me an email at brittanyeileen32@gmail.com. Thank you & I love you all!

Ryu-con Haul

I have to apologize once again for my absence! Unfortunately all of this work to get my shop up & running, job hunting, Babysitting, and Animal Crossing is consuming my life. But I wanted to share with you guys some goodies my friends & I purchased at Ryu-con! My little sisters wanted to go so I took them as a last minute thing. I also made them Minun & Plusle cosplays! I don't have any photo's from the event as it was extremely expensive and not much to see inside. BUT there were some super cute vendors! After spending over $100 just to get in, we didn't have much money left for spending but managed to get a few cute things!

The first bunch of jewelry we got was from The Petite Macaron. Check out her etsy! Everything is hand made and adorable! Looks almost good enough to eat. I especially love these little macaron platter rings!

The next bunch of items are from Hip Hop Candy! I can't get over how CUTE all of their items were! And really reasonably priced too! We also got another ring and button but it's not pictured here (sorry!)

I LOVE THE CANDLES! They have the best selection of scents, and trust me, I smelled almost every one that was on display. Not to mention how adorable the packaging is. Even when my candle is gone I get to use this cute tin to store whatever, hehe. And the lotions are also amazing! I must have put it on over a couple hours ago and I can still smell it on myself! It's not too strong either so don't worry! It's just right! I will for sure be buying more of these. I want every scent!

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been too active lately. If you follow me on instagram you probably saw that I've been working on a lot of products for my shop, http://cosmiccomet.storenvy.com/. Right now I'm working on a set of eeveelution bracelets!

I was tagged by Alice from fabulous life ♡. Thanks so much for tagging me! Liebster works by asking 10 questions by the person that tagged you, and then nominating 10 other people to answer your questions! They must have under 200 followers though, so we can all keep spreading the love! Here are my answers to Alice's questions!

1. Who is your inspiration?
This may sounds super sappy but, my boyfriend Cody. He inspires me every day to try harder & harder for our future together.

♪ Making Mischief ♫

I haven't posted anything in a while, so I decided I would finally update you guys on my hair. It's lime green! Or as I like to call it, Slime Green. I was watching Jem & The Holograms all day on Netflix and I realized my hair is pretty much exactly the same color as Pizzazz from The Misfits! So I thought it would be fun to replicate her makeup and take a couple pictures.

In case you're wondering what products I used, I started with Juice Beauty CC Cream as a primer/base, then Urban Decays Naked Skin foundation, and concealed with boi-ing by Benefit. For the shadows I used a NYX jumbo pencil in milk, then both loose pigments by Sugarpill in Decora & Weekender. And as for the lips I used Lustering by MAC. Sorry, that was very unorganized of a list. I just wanted to make this quick since my bf just walked in and is laughing at me.

Juice Beauty

Last week I went down to my local Ulta in search of a new moisturizer. To say the least I was overwhelmed by the selection of products to choose from.Thankfully an extremely helpful employee helped me with what I was looking for. She happened to be one of the brand specialists for Juice Beauty..."high efficacy yet authentically organic beauty solutions masterminded by a California team passionate about healthy lifestyles and whose organic products are backed by powerful science." Since I wasn't sure if I wanted to just throw down a bunch of money on something that may not work for me she gave me a bunch of samples! So I thought I would do a review on them and share with all of you guys!

It had my attention as soon as I saw 'organic'. I've found that with my skincare products, the less chemicals, the better results. As I have extremely sensitive, dry skin. The thing that I found the most interesting about this brand is that they use a JUICE base, instead of water like most products. How cool is that!? I mean, think about all the good antioxidants in this stuff! Even their labs are solar powered! I'll start with these:

Blemish Clearing Cleanser: Prevent blemishes, deeply cleanse and remove impurities with this clarifying cleanser of certified organic lemon, cherry and aloe juices. Deeply cleanses, heals while hydrating.

Blemish Clearing Serum: Reduce breakouts, unclog pores, and even skin tone with this powerful serum packed with organic fruit acids and salicylic acid from willow bark; while organic aloe, CoQ10 and fat-soluble Vitamin C renew the skin for a healthy, clear complexion. Heals while hydrates.

Oil-Free Moisturizer: Hydrate, quench and restore your skin's natural moisture balance with this lightweight oil-free moisturizer that contains a blend of certified organic grape and pomegranate, soothing aloe vera, vitamin antioxidants and nutrient-rich sea algae to restore the skin's natural balance.

All in all, I would say that I really like all of these together. I notice after using it my redness evens up a bit and it leaves my skin baby soft! It has a pretty strong "organic" smell to it though. I know a lot of people can find that unappealing, but personally I love that natural smell. So it's good in my book there. The only complaint I have is that it is a bit thick and leaves a sort of sticky feeling after, but it's really not that bad. Because once it all dries it leaves your skin really smooth.

Stem Cellular Repair CC Cream (Natural Glow)

It says it has 12 benefits in 1. Repairs damage, evens skin tone & texture, firms & improves elasticity, reduces fine lines & wrinkles, creates a radiant glowing complexion, balances skin tone, rich in antioxidants, protects with chemical free SPF 30, mineral tinted coverage, ultimate moisturizer, skin perfecting color, and great for all skin types.

You guys have all heard about the BB Cream craze, this is basically the same! I really enjoy this product in specific. Since it doubles as a moisturizer (which I DESPERATELY need!) and a makeup product it's very convenient. I have noticed it does a good job with making my skin appear more even, and it does fill in my fine lines under my eyes pretty nicely. However it doesn't give much coverage in my opinion. I'm used to wearing full coverage foundation just because of my redness and I need a bit more. BUT, if I feel like putting on a full coverage foundation I found that this works really well as a base/primer, as makes my foundation look 1000x better! Its always good to know that you're putting a good clean product on your bare skin before anything for optimum protection. It also only comes in 2 shades, natural glow, and warm glow. But that doesn't really pose a problem since it is a very sheer coverage. Once again, it has a strong organic smell, and is a bit thick. But once you warm it up and blend it in it smooths out nicely.

I can't wait to keep using these products! I plan on purchasing a full size bottle soon! You can check out the brands website here: http://www.juicebeauty.com/

Wicked

So while Maranda and I were drugstore browsing, I came across this wonderful tube of magic in the cosmetics aisle. As you can see the brand is 'Jesse's Girl'. I'm really not familiar with this brand but had to pick this up. If you guys are familiar with the brand 'Inglot' then you've probable seen or heard of their AMC Lip Glosses. They sell a clear gloss with an iridescent blue-purple color that I've wanted for so long. But that gloss is $16.00 on their website, and this gloss was only $4.99.

The color I purchased is in 'Wicked'. On their site they have other colors in the Glow Stix line. Above are swatches of it in the light of each color it changes to. They are both the same swatch, not two different colors. So you can fully see how it looks. It reminds me of an Oil Slick effect over black lips. Muahaha. Overall you get a pretty good couple hours of wear out of it. The only thing I don't favor is the taste. If you're used to high-end glosses this may not be up to your liking. But like I'm saying, for $5 you really cant go wrong.

You can find these at jessesgirlcosmetics.com. And I suggest you pick one up! Its so fun experimenting with what lip color to put it over!

Wig Haul & Review

Hello lovelies!! Today I'm back to share with you my new wig shopping experience. Right now I'm in the process of coloring my hair an obnoxious color while looking for a new job. And obviously most companies will not hire you with colored hair , so naturally my first though was "wig!" since I do not want to give up having fun hair.
I placed an order with my friend from a seller on Amazon that goes by X&Y Angel. Click here to view their items, or just type X&Y Angel into the search bar.
I've never owned a wig before but like most people, I've seen some pretty messed up ones. Either they're styled all strange, way too shiny, or just not at all what the model is wearing. Of coarse when ordering anything online (especially Amazon) you're not sure what exactly you'll be getting in the mail. Advice to anyone, before you buy read all the shops & items reviews. If there aren't any, don't take the chance. But this seller seemed to have good reviews so I gave it a shot.

The package seemed sketchy at first. The corners were a bit ripped and such but it was packed pretty well with a good amount of bubble wrap inside. Then I pulled out the wigs and they were both wrapped neatly in a separate bag.

This is what they looked like when I pulled them out. SO SOFT! I wasn't expecting them to be so soft. They also sent me 2 wig caps which I was thankful for because I forgot to purchase them when I bought the wigs. AND they even sent me a cute little tiara (not pictured) for free! It retails for $7.99 so that was really nice of them.

Here are the wigs before styling or brushing. I was just too excited so I snapped quick pictures. Mine is on the left, and my friends is on the right. I don't have pictures of her wearing it, but I have some selfies of me.

Left is without flash and right is with. I keep getting SO many compliments when I wear it out. Everyone seriously thinks its my real hair. I almost feel guilty accepting the compliments. I think it's great how I initially bought this wig because I "needed" it for job hunting/interviews, but now I'd rather wear this than style my own hair! My overall rating is A+++.
Pros: Nice adjustable band. Not too thick, but not too thin. Breathable & comfortable. Barely any fall-out. Not so shiny. Well put together and didn't require much styling or trimming.
Cons: ...NONE!

If you're looking for a wig check out X&Y Angel on amazon! This post was in no way sponsored either. I purchased these with my own money. And want to know the best part? They were only $14.99 EACH! You seriously cannot beat that price for such a great quality wig. ♡Thank you X&Y Angel!!♡

More random things,

These are my current travel necessities. 2 were in my last monthly favorites, but go try these products out. So good.

And can someone tell me why we don't have these in America!? Blueberry cheesecake KitKats, I'm in heaven. That's all for today!

3 years together ❤

Hello! I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've actually been quite busy around the house here. But I wanted to share my latest adventure with all of you guys! Last Tuesday was my boyfriend & I's 3 year anniversary. I still can't believe it's already been so long. I'll skip all of the sappy stuff since I can go on forever about how amazing this guy is. But we ended up going on a lovely date to Niagara Falls, which included going to the Aquarium, Ben & Jerrys, and the Niagara Outlet Mall. I never took a full length photo to show my outfit but I'm wearing my gold studded starfish dress from Forever21! It worked so perfectly for the occasion, hehe. Oh yeah, WARNING picture heavy. I also hope you guys enjoy pictures of fishies, reptiles & anemone, cause I sure do.

The Aquarium of Niagara is kind of small (I didn't get pictures of everything) but it's really fun. Afterwards we ended up driving to try and find the Ben & Jerrys scoop shop cause it's the only one we have even relatively close to Buffalo and stopped for burritos on the way there (shhhh...). We were lost for a while but managed to find it inside of the Outlet Mall.

If heaven were in a cup...
So the mall was pretty cool. There was a Lindt chocolatier store! There were flavors of Lindor truffles only dreams were made of. I'll have to go back and buy a bag. Most of the Mall was filled with Juicy, Michael Kors, Guess, Gucci, Barneys ect. I could care less. But I did find an amazing store with great
prices that I was just drooling over everything in. I bought a couple things from there but I'm going back next week so I'll share with you guys then and probably post a haul. I did get a yankee candle for 50% off too! I'm such a bargain shopper. I'll almost never buy anything for full price unless I absolutely need it. What else is going on in my life, hmmm. Not much. Oh, my rabbit has snuffles I think. So he's going to the vet. Well that's it! Have a great morning/day/night everyone!
